Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, get ready to depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its baobab trees that dot the landscape, its large herds of Elephants, and tree-climbing Pythons. Tarangire River is the main source of water and therefore attracts a huge number of animals, especially during the dry season.
After a 2 hours drive, we’ll get you to the main entrance gate of the park, complete entry procedures should take only a few minutes after which we proceed with the game drive. In the afternoon enjoy your lunch in a well-designated picnic area of the Tarangire bush.
During the game drives you may see animals including Lesser Kudu, Buffalos, Oryx, Elands, Giraffes, and Zebras, as well as the predators such as Lions, Cheetahs, and the elusive Leopards. Tarangire also hosts many bird species including Yellow necked spurfowl, Northern white-crowned shrike, and Lilac-breasted roller just to mention a few.
After the game drives your guide will drive you to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast we’ll depart for central Serengeti with your picnic lunch boxes. Serengeti is among the Natural wonders of the world and the richest wildlife reserve on the planet. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometers big game opportunities are always guaranteed during the game drive. The park also offers the most scenic picnic areas to enjoy your Lunch and nice views of endless plains, where you will witness some animals roaming on the grassy plains.
In the evening, your guide will drive you to a Lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 4 : Serengeti National Park (Full day game drive)
On day 4 you get to explore the plains of central Serengeti also known as Seronera for a full-day game drive. Relish the vastness of this park commonly known as “the unforgettable endless plains land” along with some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities that Serengeti has to offer.
During the game drive, you will get to see many animals including the herds of Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Hyenas, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Lions, and Leopardsjust to mention a few.
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to a Lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy an early breakfast then get ready for a journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Before reaching the crater you get to stop at Olduvai Gorge to get some important history about Dr. Leakey and his wife Mary Leakey’s discoveries. Then followed by a descent to over 600 m deep crater through lush forests. As you approach the crater, marvelled at the incredible landscape around you, your guide will take you through the crater floor for exceptional game drives.
This crater is home to a huge number of animals but is purposely well known as a home for the big five animals. Here, you will have the chance to spot all the ‘big five’ much easier than in any other park. The big five are Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, and rare black rhinos.
After the game drives your guide will take you to a Lodge in Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Lake Eyasi (Cultural exploration)
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and scenic area located on the southern flank of the Ngorongoro Highlands. This day is dedicated to an immersive cultural experience with the indigenous tribes of the region.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet the Hadzabe tribe—one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Join them on a morning hunting expedition, where you’ll learn traditional survival skills, including tracking animals, using bows and arrows, and gathering edible plants.
Later, visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths known for crafting tools and jewelry using ancient techniques. Witness a traditional metalworking demonstration and interact with the community to learn about their lifestyle, customs, and traditions.
Enjoy a packed or hot lunch during the day, depending on your itinerary.
In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, reflecting on the unique and authentic cultural experiences of the day.
Day 7: Karatu Mto Wa Mbu Tours
After breakfast, you will have a short journey to Mto wa mbu. You will have a chance to explore many adventures including biking tours, walking tours, a visit to Maasai bomas. On this tour you get to meet with the locals and learn how banana beer is produced, as well as a visit to Makonde woodcarvings. If you are looking for utmost experiences with cultural explorations then Mto wa Mbu is the best place to visit.
After an exhaustive but rewarding day your guide will take you to a Lodge in Arusha town for dinner and overnight.
